From the Island of Skye to Monaco – St Andrew’s Day Gala Banquet


Join us on Friday 23rd November 2012 to celebrate the food, the whisky, the music and the culture of the Scottish Island of Skye for the St Andrew’s Day Gala Banquet, in the sumptuous Salle Belle Epoque of the Hôtel Hermitage Monte-Carlo.

With our award-winning guest Scottish Chef in the kitchen, Michael Smith from the Three Chimneys, celebrating a Taste of Scotland from Skye. He will prepare a 7-course tasting menu accompanied by a flight of wines.

The world famous Talisker Distillery, the only distillery on the Island of Skye, will present a selection of exclusive expressions of their whiskies for you to taste, before and after dinner.



Before the banquet, Charles Maclean, the world renowned whisky expert and a patron of the Monte Carlo Whisky Society has selected some exceptional rare Talisker single malts for you to taste.

A ‘Silent’ auction of an exclusive VIP tour of the Scottish Highlands will be held in support of the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation. Full details will be revealed on the night.
